The 6 social workers I interviewed could all see merit in the idea although there was scepticism on the validity of a test. One comment, that it could be the straw that breaks the camels back is of significance. My research led to my reading numerous government documents on the KSS. The multi-part assessment includes a digital knowledge assessment, three interactive scenarios with actors as part of the simulated assessment and a written and reflective exercise.

Many participants stated they liked the multiple choice questions format in the digital assessment although the focus group suggested it is not suitable for assessing social work.
